TRISENOX facts: Demonstrated efficacy and proven safety
TRISENOX
® (arsenic trioxide) injection fulfills an unmet medical need based on its ability
to induce complete remission in patients with relapsed or refractory acute promyelocytic
leukemia (APL). In clinical studies, TRISENOX delivers both high rates of remission and survival
in this difficult leukemia, giving hope to APL patients who have relapsed or who did not respond
to their initial therapy. Because of this success, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network
(NCCN) guidelines currently recommend arsenic trioxide therapy as the standard of care for
patients with persistent or relapsed APL.

In addition to demonstrated efficacy, TRISENOX was generally well tolerated with manageable and
reversible toxicities. TRISENOX works with minimal chemotherapy-related side effects.
TRISENOX is indicated for induction of remission and consolidation in patients with APL who are
refractory to, or have relapsed from, retinoid and anthracycline chemotherapy, and whose APL is
characterized by the presence of the t(15;17) translocation or PML/RAR-alpha gene expression.
